EFTel BroadbandNext

Welcome to BroadbandNext

BroadbandNext is a new broadband initiative by EFTel that will give Australians access to the fastest DSL internet speeds ever experienced.

In an effort to bring forward the next stage in super fast broadband technology, EFTel will be systematically upgrading exchanges across Australia in order to bring BroadbandNext to homes and businesses across the country.

BroadbandNext will be built on MSAN (Multi-service access node) technology which is a leap ahead of the traditional DSLAM Broadband technology being rolled out by most providers. MSANs have superior upgradeability, scalability, redundancy and environmental sustainability.

BroadbandNext, which is owned by EFTel Ltd, will be providing services through EFTel's flagship retail and corporate arm along with services to a number of ISPs including aaNET and through the wholesale division of EFTel Ltd, EFTel Wholesale

Key BroadbandNext Developments

Eftel is excited to announce phase 2 of the BroadbandNext network through our partnership with NEXTEP, a division of NEC Australia Pty Ltd. With 103 BroadbandNext exchanges now online and the pending completion of a further 5 BroadbandNext exchanges, the NEXTEP partnership will provide EFTel with exclusive access to another 55 exchanges across Australia.
